Course Content
The PADI 'Fast Track' Instructor course is designed for those that are serious about their diving. It will take you from the stage of being an Open Water Diver up to the coveted title of PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor, the main qualification in the recreational diving industry, opening doors to jobs all over the world. You will complete a total of 70 logged dives, including the PADI Advanced Open Water, Emergency First Response, Rescue Diver, Divemaster and Instructor Development (PADI IDC) courses. These courses take you to the level of PADI Assistant Instructor. We also include the PADI Emergency First Response Instructor course and the PADI Enriched Air Nitrox qualification to improve your employability.
You will be entered into the 3 day PADI Instructor Exam (PADI IE), assuming your PADI Course Director believes you are ready. Upon successfully passing the exam you will have earned the right to call yourself a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor. In the unlikely event you fail the exam re-sits are available but the PADI fees for re-sits are not included in the course fees.
This is an extremely intensive course, covering many different aspects of diving. It requires a lot of work, both in the water and out of it. You will only get out of the course what you put into it, so if you're not sure this is really what you want to do we recommend you do not follow the 'Fast Track' approach but proceed at a slower pace with the conventional PADI courses.
