M.A.D. Divers Diving Centre - Services and Facilities

M.A.D. Divers are a British owned and staffed diving centre operating in the south west of Mallorca, specialising in providing top quality diving and diving centre facilities to British holidaymakers in the Magalluf, Palmanova and Santa Ponsa areas.

Before you book your diving with us we believe that you should know what you're being offered for your money. We provide you details on the dives and courses that you can do during your holiday. We also provide details on the instructors that you will be diving with.

We have 2 fully equiped classrooms. Not surprisingly we believe you should also know what the facilities are like within the diving centre. The range and quality of facilities available for divers within diving centres varies widely on the island and we pride ourselves on providing you with what we believe are the best facilities available in any diving centre in Mallorca / Majorca. We undersatand that when you're on holiday you want the same levels of facilities, and better, as you would expect back home.

Pre-dive service

For clients staying in Magalluf, Palmanova, Santa Ponsa, Cala Vinas, Son Caliu, El Toro and Peguerra our pre-dive service will normally include a visit to you in your hotel prior to your first days diving with us. You can ask any questions you may have and we will check your paperwork is in order. We will also provide a courtesy mini-bus service between your hotel and the diving centre on the days of your dives.

Many diving centres do not offer you this service, meaning you have to pay taxi fares on top of your dive costs every day!

Boats

We now have 3 boats available, one a hard-hulled boat with inboard diesel (the one on th eleft of the picture). This boat is approximately twice the width of a normal 6m RIB ensuring that every diver has lots of space available for getting equipment on and off. We also have 2 RIBs, one 7.5m (on the right in the picture) and a new 12m RIB. All boats have large aluminium ladders permanently attached making the exit from the water at the end of the dive easy even for the least athletic diver. 		Both our dive boats are fully customised.

Equipment hire

We have a plentiful supply of diving equipment available for rental purposes within the diving centre. The equipment is serviced regularly and replaced after only two seasons. We have both male and female wetsuits, unlike most diving centres in Mallorca / Majorca, and we also hold a stock of rental dry suits for diving in the winter months.

Air and Nitrox

Our compressor room is fully ventilated. It houses not only a high capacity air compressor, but also a membrane nitrox compressor. We believe that nitrox offers significant advantages over diving with air and we believe those advantages should be made available to our customers. We are one of the very few diving centres on the island that can provide you with nitrox - assuming you're nitrox qualified(!) - and what's more, we do not charge anything extra for using nitrox instead of air. Air and Nitrox are available in steel bottles, 10L, 12L and 15L.

Equipment storage

For certified divers we have plenty of room for hanging all your dive gear up within the diving centre.

Shower and Changing Facilities

Diving with MAD Divers means that you will have separate male and female showers and changing rooms available to you.

You'd think this would go without saying, but many diving centres seem to think divers are all male!!!

Other facilities within the diving centre

Internet and telephone facilities are available within the diving centre. We also have a stock of soft drinks and beers within the centre. It should go without saying that we can supply you with diving equipment from a wide range of suppliers at a competetive price.
