PADI Courses - Distance Learning / Home Study Options
In custom with our practise of listening to our customers and following a similar announcement by PADI Europe, M.A.D Divers are pleased to offer our student divers, as well as certified divers undertaking continuing education courses, the option of completing the bulk of the knowledge development part of their course using a Distance Learning option.

What does Distance Learning / Home Study Involve?
Each PADI course is supported by a range of learning materials. Using the conventional classroom based teaching method you don't get to see these materials until you start the course. Once you've let us know you want to take advantage of the Distance Learning / Home Study option we post the necessary materials to you whilst you're still in the UK, allowing you to complete the bulk of your studying at home. You complete the acual dives when you visit us in Mallorca!

Why Distance Learning / Home Study?
You can study at the times that are convenient to yourself and at your own pace. This type of learning is suited perfectly to diving theory with the wealth of independent study aids already available through PADI.
Perhaps the biggest advantage of all is that Distance Learning gives you more time to do what you want while you're on holiday - whether that's doing more dives, spending more quality time with the family or hitting the beaches and night spots. The choice is yours!!!

Is there any additional charge for the Distance Learning / Home Study Option?
The only additional cost involved is the cost of the materials, which you retain at the end of your course, plus postage & packing from the UK.
